Bridgelin Online Solutions is a division of NaberNet Inc.

NaberNet was founded in 2004 to build community websites and has built an extensive network.

Software was developed to make it easier to create and maintain these sites. A key component of the application was the ability to share content between websites, including events, articles and listings. It was dubbed the Nabernet Content Engine (or NCE).

It was subsequently decided to make the technology available to others, most notably local volunteer-based organizations. Then we began selling it to local businesses and business organizations.

The software was so well received that it was decided to separate off the technology aspect of the business. The name Bridgelin was adopted because it reflected the ability of the software to build connections in true Web 2.0 fashion.

A major round of changes were made to the software in 2009 which resulted in the launch of Bridgelin 2.0.
